The Anglican
Camino Ministry
The Anglican Camino Ministry is a collaborative effort of The Friends of the Anglican Pilgrim Centre, Santiago, in partnership with The Spanish Episcopal Reformed Church (Iglesia Española Reformada Episcopal, or IERE) and the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe in partnership with The Church of England’s Diocese in Europe.
We are an Anglican ministry, made up of chaplains from several parts of the world. Our mission is to provide pastoral care, spiritual support and sacraments to English-speaking pilgrims of all Christian faith traditions as they arrive in Santiago de Compostela. We work in close collaboration with the Anglican Pilgrim Centre. and when possible, offer religious services in Casa Anglicana del Peregrino (a pensión or simple hotel operated by the IERE) and historic Santa Susana (located in Alameda Park, central Santiago de Compostela).
